About b ecoming a WiredSafety volunteer

Volunteering with WiredSafetyThis section of the Web site was created to help you understand the application and orientation process and to answer your questions about what happens when you volunteer for WiredSafety. First, we would like to thank you for your interest in WiredSafety, and commend your willingness to volunteer your time to making a difference. We are all so very happy to see you here.

First steps

While you wait, we'd like to ask you to review our site and learn a bit about us. Read our Code of Conduct and our Mission Statement, see what types of programs and assistance we offer.

We would also like to ask that when you have a question, you try looking here, on the Web site first. Our FAQ here and in the Wired-Ed division should answer most questions. Your help here gives us more time to take care of our main mission - helping victims, providing support and educating the public on Internet safety. Thank you for your cooperation.

Once you have a sense of what you might like to help with, proceed to Step One, and you will be on your way!

Thanks for applying to WiredSafety
We'll be getting back to you ASAP!
