Still waiting to hear from a dear friend. Hope lives on in my heart. A candle remains lit in my window, both for Dan and all of the brave hero's that lost thier lives and those that continue to dig a ground zero. You all remain in my prayer as each day passes. O God, hear my anguished voice; from the foes I dread protect my life. Hide me from the malicious crowd, the mob of evildoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords, ready their bows for arrows of poison words. They shoot at the innocent from ambush, shoot without risk, catch them unawares. They resolve on their wicked plan; they conspire to set snares; they say:" Who will see us?" They devise wicked schemes, conceal the schemes they devise; the designs of their hearts are hidden. - PSALMS 64:1 Ray Meriden, CT USA - Friday, September 21, 2001 at 19:02:01 (EDT)

10 Days on, we know in our hearts that many thousands have perished. We give thanks in our hearts for those who were spared, those who were late for work, those who got out of the buildings, those who, for some reason known not to us, are still with us today. Those that are not, we wish them all speed on their way to a better place. Our task here is to help and comfort whose whom this cruel act has left behind. I wish peace, comfort and love for each heart affected by this tragedy. We all hurt, may we all be comforted, and may those that have gone rest in the arms of the creator. as a father of a trooper, and retired firefighter with children old enough to be in the military my prayers go out to all who have been touched by this tragedy. may the world stand united and put an expediant end to all of the suffering we are about to face from what has to be done. jags chester, vt USA - Thursday, September 20, 2001 at 19:17:22 (EDT)
This is a tragedy that has certainly shocked the nation. I don't understand how the world can be so cruel. Through one act of mindless violence we have all lost someone close to our hearts. It makes me cry everytime I watch the news and my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone suffering. It pains me to think of how people spent their last few minutes on the planes or in the buildings...and although I don't think that violence is necessarily the key to punishing these barbarians...justice must be done. Life is too precious. God bless you all. Jo London, United Kingdom - Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at 16:34:04 (EDT)
